On September 30, 2007, Unified Grocers acquired Associated Grocers, Seattle Washington. As the largest wholesale grocery cooperative in the West, Unified now serves independent retailers from Seattle to San Diego, from El Paso to Boise and to Alaska, Hawaii and the Pacific Rim.
