Unified Grocers recognizes its corporate responsibility to contribute to the betterment of the community. Each year, Unified and its employees participate in numerous giving activities helping to keep our communities strong. We are proud of our humanitarian efforts and those of the many charitable organizations of which we support. Some of those organizations include:

City of Hope (www.cityofhope.org)
The unique, long-standing relationship between the Pacific Northwest Food Industries Circle and the City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute has provided Unified with a wonderful opportunity to support and share in winning the fight against cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, and many other serious diseases that continue to devastate lives in our local communities and around the world.

Food Lifeline (www.foodlifeline.org)
Northwest Harvest (www.northwestharvest.org)
Fighting hunger is a cause close to our hearts here at Unified. Throughout our history, we have worked diligently to help keep food banks stocked and ensure no person goes hungry.

Puget Sound Blood Center (www.psbc.org)
Six times each year, Unified employees roll up their sleeves to replenish blood bank supplies that offer life-giving hope and save lives every day.

Salvation Army (www.salvationarmyusa.org)
Through their generous participation in the Salvation Army Sharing Tree Program, Unified employees bring hundreds of smiles to families throughout the Puget Sound area each holiday season.
